Maui - Haleakala
Unrealistic views. Colors are unbelievable. It is certainly worth hour+ drive to get there (from Wailea).
Few activities on the way there: ATV, horseback and bicycle rides/tours.
I think that horseback tour and hiking around the crater would be your best time spent there. (Consider to bring some warm clothes with you.)
